Reporting into the UK Marketing Director, the Junior Digital & Graphic Designers main responsibility is the creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform digital creative work. This can be anything from social media content, both static and video, emails to banners, mobile/tablet apps and microsites as well as other print material as required. It involves working closely with the rest of the marketing and sales team in UcaDO. The role will involve taking anything from a simple hand-drawn scamp or a fully formed concept and and turning this into a digital campaign or website layout or flyer etc, using Photoshop and/or other Adobe creative suite software.
Duties of the Junior Digital & Graphic Designer
Create branded, sales and marketing collateral for use across all digital platforms and channels – this could also include brochures, posters, signage, pop-up stands and logos etc as well
Liaise with sales and marketing teams to discuss their requirements – and help to resolve any issues related to the work produced
Ensure all artwork produced meets the needs, requirements and brand values.
Attend regular training events and courses to further your knowledge and expertise
Create digital design work, including display banners, website mock-ups and infographics, social media content
Help to produce internal sales and marketing material to promote the business and generate sales
Requirements of the role
Degree in graphic or web design preferable
Good working knowledge of the whole Adobe Creative Suite
A passion for creating stunning visuals that drive measurable performance
Strong organisational and communication skills
Up to date knowledge of the latest design trends
Creative flair and a good eye for detail
Strong portfolio which shows experience with a range of different clients
An understanding and familiarity with UX design would be a bonus
Experience of working with agencies would be preferable but not essential
